RemoteScan began supporting Fujitsu ScanSnap scanners starting May 24, 2018, with the release of the following versions of RemoteScan:
Fujitsu ScanSnap scanners are not currently compatible with the common Windows image capture API's (Twain, WIA, ISIS), and these devices currently only communicate with other applications via a locally-installed Windows agent (ScanSnap Manager or ScanSnap Home).

Newer versions of ScanSnap Home are configured to automatically update on a periodic basis. If ScanSnap Home is updated/reinstalled on a user's workstation, it may be also necessary to reinstall RemoteScan server and then reconfigure ScanSnap Home on the same PC in order to use the ScanSnap device with RemoteScan.
