This seems to be an issue that affects OpenJDK 1.8.0_212 (25.212-b04) and 1.8.0_222 (25.222-b10) on Linux, these are the OpenJDK versions shipped with Foglight 5.9.5 and 5.9.7 respectively.
The suspected associated defect in OpenJDK is ZULU-5050 (Memory leak in crypto provider verification introduced in October 2019 PSU release).
Upgrade the JRE to OpenJDK 1.8.0_252 (25.252−b14)
Logged as FGL-20570 to include new OpenJDK on future release.
