You issue an activate config, which fails with the following message:
sp_ctrl > activate config TEST_config
Bad config file: file -TEST_config; License key is not a valid "SharePlex for RAC" key
SharePlex checks the entries of v$thread and expects to see only one entry for a standalone system. Basically SharePlex is issuing a select count(*) from v$thread and if the number is higher than 1 it assumes it's running on a RAC.
If the system currently doesn't have RAC capability and the license key for Shareplex is for a standalone system
The workaround is reset the instance for the objects in the v$thread view to have the view appear to be a standalone system. This way you could use the stand alone key instead of a RAC key.
