Toad screen re-draw refresh rate is slow at 10 sec or more -
Description
Experiencing slow refresh rate under the following circumstance:
- When TOAD's new editor has a PL/SQL tab, it takes longer to refresh the screen when switching to it
- When switching between two or more Editor Windows where each Editor may have multiple tabs
- When switching between multiple Schema Browser

Resolution
WORKAROUND 1:
Increase your monitor refresh rate
1. Right-click on your desktop and select 'Properties'
2. In the Display Properties window click on 'Settings'
3. Click on 'Advance' at the bottom
4. Click on the 'Monitor' tab
5. Select a higher refresh rate to see if it helpsÂWORKAROUND 2:Un-pin the Navigator panel, Object Palette and all unnecessary panels in the Editor window
WORKAROUND 3:Disable the Editor's gutter number
1. Go to 'View | TOAD Options'
2. Select 'Editor | Display'
3. On the RHS, uncheck 'Visible gutter'
