Cartridges both core and non core were not activatable and were either in partial activated state or in pending activation state post Foglight Management Server (FMS) upgrade and subsequent restarts. Below errors were seen in the logs as well as in the Cartridge Inventory dashboard while trying to enable the cartridges.
ERROR [forge-startup] com.quest.nitro.service.cartridge.CartridgeService - An error occurred during automatic deployment of cartridge XXXXXX on server startup: com.quest.nitro.service.cartridge.api.CartridgeException: Cannot find a set of cartidges that support XXXXXX.
There was not enough space on the FMS server for the cartridges to expand, hence the core cartridges were not activated which was preventing the non core cartridges to be activated and stay in pending dependency state instead.
The same was confirmed from the auto thread dumps created by the FMS which contained the below error.
Error 0x80070070: There is not enough space on the disk.
