User attempts to launch Toad but the application does not appear on the screen. The screen may flicker or prompt for an authorization key, but disappears afterwards.
The authorization key used by Toad maybe invalid or corrupted.
RESOLUTION 1:
Please check with license@quest.com to verify that you have a working license and authorization key.
RESOLUTION 2:
If a valid authorization key is used, then perform the following:
1. Check to see if user is at least a power user and have access to Oracle folder. (Consult your Network Administrator).
2. Disable anti-virus and try launching Toad again.
3. Adding a specific program to list that firewall will allow to use: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/842242 (Ask Network Administrator for assistance if necessary).
