Description

In Spotlight 11.6, the call it makes to DBCC LOGINFO on SQL Server 2005 with a snap shot runs into a Microsoft SQL Server 2005 defect where the call creates a non-yielding scheduler that eventually causes it to crash.
Resolution

WORKAROUND: The issue is a Microsoft SQL Server 2005 defect as described by the following Microsoft KB Article:

SQL Server 2005 is not a supported by Microsoft anymore and Spotlgiht may eventually stop support it as well; however, for now a change request is issued to remove the call from SQL Server 2005.
STATUS: Issue fixed in version 11.6.1. The latest version of Spotlight on SQL Server Enterprise can be downloaded at https://support.quest.com/spotlight-on-sql-server-enterprise/download-new-releases
