Knowledge Xpert is not integrating properly with SQL Navigator when there are multiple copies of SQL Navigator installed.
The Knowledge Xpert installs will search the Registry looking for the existence of SQL Navigator. It looks in:
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Quest Software\SQL Navigator
If found, it will install version 126.96.36.199 of revbase.dll (11/7/01) into the directory that is indicated by the Value entries. This ensures backwards compatibility. When SQL Navigator is installed multiple times, this Registry setting can only point to the last install. Consequently, the revbase.dll will only be updated in that directory. Any other installs of SQL Navigator will not integrate with the Knowledge Xpert.
Copy the new revbase.dll from the Knowledge Expert directory into the other SQL Navigator directories
Note: revbase.dll must be version 188.8.131.52 and Modified date on 11/7/01 for SQL Navigator to recognize
