With Source Exchange 2007, you receive an error 'No objects were returned from the Configuration Database', when clicking on the Mailbox or Group Picker in Collection Items. -
Description
When attempting to modify a Collection's members, by selecting either the Group or Mailbox picker, the following error is received, and the Picker does not come up:
"No objects were returned from the configuration database."
Source Exchange is 2007, and re-enumeration of the Source does not resolve the issue. -
Cause
Storage Groups, and possibly servers, were deleted and recreated with the same name, causing conflicting data in the Project's SQL database. -
Resolution
- Stop all Mail Synchronization Agents.
- Make a back-up of the Project's SQL database.
- Run the following SQL Query to update the database:
- UPDATE EXCH_MAILBOXDB SET Deleted='True' WHERE SG_ID in (SELECT ID from EXCH_STORAGEGROUP WHERE DELETED = 1).
- Start the Mail Synchronization Agents.
You should now be able to click on the Group or Mailbox picker in the Collection properties without error.
