In versions of shareplex prior to 3.2.12, Shareplex replicated sequences by dropping and recreating the sequence. If this is done in a high availability or peer-peer replication, the sequences on the target are taken out of replication. Shareplex replicates objects on the source by their object id. If an object is in an active config and that object is dropped and recreated, that object is removed from the active config and will no longer be replicated. In a H/A setup you can fail the users over to the target and immediately start using the system but will need to reactivate the config on the target to get the sequences replicating again.
Sequences in peer-to-peer replication: SharePlex does not support peer-to-peer replication
of identical sequences.
