FIPS may need to be disabled for the CMN Mail Connector to be able to properly process the booking requests.
Quest does not provide support for problems that arise from improper modification of the registry. The Windows registry contains information critical to your computer and applications. Make sure you back up the registry before modifying it. For more information on the Windows Registry Editor and how to back up and restore it, refer to Microsoft Article ID 256986 “Description of the Microsoft Windows registry” at Microsoft Support.
Microsoft KB 811833
entitled, ""System cryptography: Use FIPS compliant algorithms for encryption, hashing, and signing" security setting effects in Windows XP and in later versions of Windows" provides details about how to disable FIPS.
To turn off FIPS, you would need to navigate to the following registry key on the CMN Mail Connector server:
1.) Change the registry subkey from 1 to 0.
2.) Reboot the CMN Mail Connector server.
Note: If this setting is enforced by a Group Policy, then you may need to remove the CMN Mail Connector server from the policy.
