Possible cause: Port 161 was not open between the GenericDiscoveryAgent and the devices.
SNMP cartridge GenericDiscoveryAgent can't discover any devices (185333
. ALL SNMP agents would be created during the installation of SNMP cartridge. We don't need to remove/create the agent again. Check whether if the SNMP Agent was removed and re-created.
2. Run the query "SNMPPolicy" through Script Console, if we can see the output, check the value of agentId for "Discovery" and "SNMPWindows" listed in the output.
Administration > Tooling > Script Console
Type SNMPPolicy and click "List Instances"
Select SNPWindows and filter by agentId
Provide agentId for "Discovery" and "SNMPWindows" listed in the output.
Not all SNMP components were listed as shown in previous image.
. Please confirm that no error were displayed when installed "SNMPCartridge-5_8_5_1.car"
. Go to Administration | Cartridges | cartridge inventory and filter by "SNMP"
1. Navigate to the Dashboards->Administration->Tooling->Script Console, and run the below script, there's no output for the script.

. Go to Agent Status, and choose all of the agents whose type is GenericSNMPAgent or GenericSNMPTrapAgent, and delete them.
. Go to the Cartridge Inventory, choose the GenericSNMPConfiguration cartridge, "Disable" it and re-enable it. Then check if you can see 9 SNMP agents on Agent Status and 8 rows in the output of the query "SNMPPolicy"
. Then start to discovery a device again to see if the issue occurs again. Notice that we don't need to create SNMP agent manually.
