There is no capability in current release of Spotlight to store the historical information about locks, and lock chains. Keeping a locks history need database kernel to support it internally. Collecting real time locks information will cause database performance dropdown and change lock behavior. Another problem is scanning interval, if one scans locks for every 1 second, one will miss the locks only keep 0.5 second. Oracle has an active history to keep these internal resource information but DB2 does not.
