Storage Agent manager (FglAM) disconnected.
A review of the FglAM logs show the agent manager ran out of memory.
A further analysis of the Heap dump or autoheap dump (generated to <FglAM Home>/state/default/memorywarning) shows that significant memory is taken up by CimInstancePath objects (roughly 80% of the heap)
VFGLS-2739 has been addressed in Foglight for Storage 4.1.
Please download and patch Foglight for Virtualization 8.3, a requirement for the 4.1 Storage cartridge.
Note: Users of Enterprise Foglight, please download and patch to Foglight 5.7.5
If an upgrade or patch is not an option
If an out of memory problem is encountered with an existing 4.0 storage agent version, you should stop the Foglight Agent Manager, increase by 500 Mb the Xms setting in baseline.jvmargs.config ( or add one of 500 Mb if none exists) and restart the agent manager. You may need to do this several times until you find a value that will work consistently. This problem is not the result of a memory leak so the required memory will not increase without bounds.
