In Spotlight 11.2.1, the daily Error Log Scan at 3:00 AM throws this alarm error message for every SQL Server connection monitored:
"Collection 'Error Log Scan' failed : Failed to convert parameter value from a Int64 to a Int32. : Value was either too large or too small for an Int32."
If no error message is thrown, the error count may keep increasing. This most noticeable at lower collection frequency than the 3:00 AM default collection. See KB155430_Fig01.png.
Attached to this KB article is the agent.jar patch. This patch can only be applied to 11.2.1. Please upgrade to Spotlight on SQL Server Enterprise 11.2.1 before applying this patch. Even if the Spotlight version is 11.2.0, it still must be upgraded to 11.2.1 before applying the patch.
Issue fixed in version 11.5. The latest version of Spotlight on SQL Server Enterprise can be downloaded at https://support.quest.com/spotlight-on-sql-server-enterprise/download-new-releases.
