When you go into "Manage Job Definitions" and choose "View Job", then click on one of the Jobs Definitions (ex: Schedule Set) and make your changes and have saved those changes, you must then click on "Manage Job Definitions" again, and this time click on "Edit Job", once in there... click "Save & Submit"... this will then re-submit your Backup Job with the Updated Changes that you made.... if you do not do this (even though you saved those changes previously), the jobs old definitions will stay in effect (until then).
