How do I create the Group in Lotus Domino that will be used when setting User Visibility?
When selecting Notes User Visibility in the Notes Administrative functions of the Administrative Batch Utility, there is an option to select the visibility mode for these migrated users. The choices are as follows:
None- this option will hide the users specified in the Userstomigrate.tsv file from the Notes Address book (NAB) by adding the group to the security list
System - this will show the users in the tsv file in the NAB by removing the group from the security list.
In order to set the Notes visibility a group in Notes must be created fort his purpose before an attempt is made to do this.
To create a new group for the purpose of using the Notes User visibility option in the Notes Administrative functions section under the Administrative Batch Utility please do the following:
1. Create a multipurpose group called "Hidden".
2. Add the following members:
Notes Admin/Domain
LocalDomainAdmins
LocalDomainServers
OtherDomainServers
3. Select this group when prompted for in the Notes User Visibility function.
