Can the MessageStats (QMS) Application logs be removed or deleted?
Yes, the MessageStats (QMS) Application logs can be deleted but it's recommended to leave at least five days worth on hand, for troubleshooting purposes.
Update: Starting from version 6.1.1, there's a new feature in MessageStats 6.1.1 that schedules management of the application logs.
To configure this feature:
- Expand the "Task Execution Servers" node.
- Right click on the server you wish to configure and select "Properties".
- In the Properties dialog, select the "Task Logging Archive" tab and you will see the options that are available to you.
Your corporate policy can dictate whether to delete or backup the logs.
