When using Notes Migrator for Exchange you may recieve the following error,
" Unable to create MAPI session. Profile appears to specify a non-existent user."
MAPI errors typically result from one of two known issues. It can be either that the Microsoft Exchange Server service is not present in the target Outlook Profile or there is a problem with the mapisvc.inf file that MAPI uses for making a connection.
When Outlook installs MAPI services, it creates a mapisvc.inf file in one of the following directories:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\Mapi\1033
C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\Mapi\1033\NT
C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\Mapi\1033\95
To resolve this issue ensure that Outlook is installed. If Outlook is installed, make a backup copy of the existing c:\winnt\system32\mapisvc.inf. Locate and copy the mapisvc.inf file found in one of the three directories above into c:\winnt\system32, overwriting the existing file.
