Smart Client Provisioning failure due to Anti-Virus.
The user is presented with the following message:
Title: Desktop Authority
Body: Desktop Authority Smart Client Provisioning cannot install the client files. This failure is usually caused by unusually restrictive firewall and account policies. The following KB article link contains information that will help troubleshooting this issue.
The SLBoost.log file contains the following entry:
RESULT: 1224=The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open.
To verify the issue:
· Disable or Remove the Anti-virus software.
· Attempt to installation of Desktop Authority client.
To resolve the issue:
· Set Anti-virus exceptions.
· Use the Desktop Authority Client Deployment GPO to install the Desktop Authority client.
