Alternative methods of installing the KACE Desktop Authority client without using provisioning or Group Policy methods. -
Resolution
KACE Desktop Authority uses standard MSIEXEC options.
If using third-party software, it is recommended to obtain a copy of the daclientinstall.msi from the %netlogon% share. Place it in the C:\Windows\temp folder and run the following command:
msiexec /i C:\WINDOWS\temp\DAClientInstall.msi /qn
This would install the client using the quiet installer. Although only the /i and /qn switches are recommended, you should be able to use any of the msiexec options as listed below.
