How to create a Local Profile role and only apply it to a specific profile. -
Cause
By default, the access to the console is granted to Domain admins or to users that are members of the group selected as super users when Desktop Authority is installed. Most of the time, the administrators want to enforce a granular security schema, so only some user will have unrestricted access to the system.

Resolution
1. In the Desktop Authority Manager console navigate to Client Configuration | Profiles.
2. Select the desired profile under “Computer” or “User”. Highlight the profile and select the “Permissions” then click Edit.
3. From the "Add role" drop down, select Add local role.
4. Give the new local role a name and select the appropriate permissions under “System permissions”.
5. Once the permissions have been selected select “Add user” under “Roles assignment” and add the applicable user(s).
