This solution will describe steps required to give a user access to the Desktop Authority console without being added to the Super User Roles, which have access to the entire console.
To gain access to the KACE Desktop Authority console, the user(s) must first be given a set of system permissions. Log on to the KACE Desktop Authority console with a Super User account and select the Console Access Settings tab. Click the "Add role" button to create a new role. Give the role a name, then select the sections of KACE Desktop Authority the user(s) will have access. Select the "Add user" button to add user(s) into this Role to allow the system permissions specified, then click the Save button.
This is all the user(s) need to have access to the console but still requires additional configuration if the user(s) are to be granted access to profiles. Each profile can be configured with its own set of permissions. User(s) can be given access to one profile and not another. While a profile is selected, click the Permissions tab on the right side of the screen. Click the Edit button to configure. Browse the predefined Roles, or create a new one with the desired permissions. Once a role has been determined, highlight the role, select Edit, and scroll down to the Roles assignment. Add the user(s) to the list to allow them the permissions specified. Once complete, scroll back up and click the Confirm button. Then click the Save button. Follow the same steps for each profile.
