Microsoft will be forcing changes to LDAP channel binding and LDAP signing requirements to further improve the security for Active Directory domain controllers
Microsoft implementing changes to LDAP channel binding and LDAP signing requirements
Quest (KACE) is aware of the upcoming 2020 LDAP channel binding and LDAP signing requirements for Windows intended to augment LDAP authentication over SSL/TLS security changes which are included in the Monthly channel.
Per our internal assessment and also according to the feedback from our customers, the current version of KACE Desktop Authority works as expected after applying the set of updates described in the hyperlink from above for Microsoft Office 365. However, since every customer environment is unique it would be impossible for us to certify every possible scenario. We advise you to take the proper precautionary measures that apply to your environment before implementing the Microsoft updates.
If in the future you encounter issues based on your unique environment, Quest (KACE) recommends that you contact Microsoft via their no-cost app compatibility assistance program AppAssure and also contact Quest Support for further assistance.
