Group Policy installation keeps installing the Desktop Authority 8.x client on version 9 environment.
After installation or upgrade of DA (Desktop Authority) 9.x Manager console, client machines continue to get messages that Desktop Authority Group Policy is provisioning and installing the DA 8.x client. Upon completion, the Desktop Authority 8 client is installed on the system.
Using the Active Directory GPMC tool (Group Policy Management Console), go to the “Group Policy Objects” folder and delete any instance of:
Desktop Authority 32bit client install
Desktop Authority 32bit client uninstall
Desktop Authority 64bit client install
Desktop Authority 64bit client uninstall
Also go to the “WMI FILTERS” folder and delete:
Desktop Authority 32bit systems
Desktop Authority 64bit systems
