Displaying the upgrade log

Select Update Software, then Display Upgrade Log.

Select OK to return to the Update Software.

Testing network settings

Whenever you add or change network settings, the Console Program automatically tests connections to the Control Port IP Address and the Gateway IP Address. You can run this test at any time for troubleshooting purposes. For more information, see Specifying network settings.

Select Test Network Settings.

Select OK to return to the Advanced Options.

Stopping and starting processes

You can stop and start processes from the Advanced Options. These actions are generally reserved for troubleshooting purposes.

Reviewing the appliance system details and health status

For both virtual and physical appliances, you can find out the version numbers and build number for software installed on the appliance, as shown in the following image.

For physical appliances, you can also view the Dell Service Tag (located on the back of the Dell appliance), detailed RAID array status, and detailed appliance health information such as the appliance’s temperature and battery status.
