Initialization error when attempting to open the reporting console
An initialization error is returned when attempting to open the reporting console. Initialize failed: The communitation object, System.ServiceModel.Channels.ServiceChannel, cannot be used for communication because it is in the faulted state.
Causa

There is a setting in the configuration file that the reporting console uses that may need to be changed.
Risoluzione
Edit the following file in notepad:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Quest\Desktop Authority Reporting\ScriptLogic.Reporting.DAReporting.exe.config
- On line #7 in the file, change the value for “DirectMode” from False to True.
- Save the file and try to open the console again.
