Cannot register agent error during Agent Registering - ( Win32 error: 11004) -
Description
When attempting to register an agent you may receive the following error "Cannot register agent on the InTrust server 'Servname.domain.com". The requested name is valid, but no data of the requested type was found. (Win32 error: 11004) -
Cause
This can be caused by a DNS issue in the customer environment -
Resolution
Try Pinging the FQDN and shortname of the Agent server from the InTrust Server
or
Try Pinging the FQDN and shortname of the InTrust server from the Agent Server
You can add to the host file of the Agent server the FQDN and shortname of the InTrust server
this is completely an environmental DNS issue not related to Intrust
