"5.7.1 Client does not have permissions to send as this sender" failure when sending a report in Repository Viewer -
Description
The following error is recorded when sending a scheduled report in Repository Viewer:
" 5.7.1 Client does not have permissions to send as this sender. "
However, the InTrust server is able to send email using the same SMTP settings.

Cause
When Repository viewer submits the email to the SMTP connector, it includes the NTLM authentication information of the InTrust service account. This can cause the email to fail when Microsoft Exchange is used as the SMTP server and the service account does not have permissions to "send as" the email account listed as "from address" in the SMTP settings. -
Resolution
WORKAROUND 1:
Grant the InTrust server account permissions to "send as" the email account listed as "from address" in the SMTP settings.
WORKAROUND 2:
Request a fix from InTrust support.
STATUS
Waiting for fix in a future release of InTrust.

Additional Information
The SMTP connector should allow Anonymous Authentication in order to allow connections from the InTrust Server or Repository Viewer.
