When attempting to install InTrust for Syslogs, you receive the following error:
Feature "InTrust for Syslog Service" cannot be installed.
Following software is missing:
- Microsoft Data Access - ActiveX Data Objects 126.96.36.199 or later
If this message appears after the specified software was installed, restart your computer.
Your version of MDAC is not at least version 2.6.

In order to resolve this problem, you should upgrade your version of MDAC. This can be found at the following link:
To confirm your version of MDAC, please open the Registry Editor, then browse to HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\DataAccess. Then confirm the version number.
