The following is a list of issues known to exist with InTrust Knowledge Portal at the time of Quest release:InTrust 9.5.
CR0189258
InTrust Knowledge Portal cannot be installed on Itanium 64-bit platform (due to known limitations for platform support by Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services).
CR0183946
If either your InTrust Knowledge Portal or the SQL Server hosting InTrust databases is installed on other machine than Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, it may be impossible for users to access the Portal using integrated authentication. If you have to switch to basic authentication mechanism, it is strongly recommended that you configure InTrust to connect to Report Server using the HTTPS protocol instead of HTTP.
CR0182457
For connection to SRS to be performed correctly, you should verify the SRS URL during the setup.
CR0181639,
CR0142484
If basic authentication is used in the SRS connection settings (for example, for InTrust Knowledge Portal installed remotely), another instance of InTrust Knowledge Portal cannot be installed to the computer where SRS runs. If basic authentication is used for the Reports and ReportServer virtual directories, user will not be able to install and work with the Report Packs.
CR0136268
For installation of Report Packs, the computer running Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services must have the Bypass proxy server for local addresses option selected (Control Panel | Internet Options | Connections | LAN Settings | Bypass proxy server for local addresses).
CR0168301
If a user tries to run Report Builder on the remote computer in a workgroup hosting SRS while client computer is located in the domain, then such operation will fail due to authentication error. To prevent from problems when launching Report Builder remotely, configure access rights as described in the Installation and Configuration Guide.
CR0167911,
CR0174994
The following error may occur in Internet Explorer browser on the client side when trying to display the Reports, Data Sources, and Search tabs of InTrust Knowledge Portal after navigation in reports tree, or after selecting a folder and clicking Remove Folder option: "Unknown error. Error page description: Invalid_Viewstate. Client IP: <client_ip> Port: <port_number> User-Agent:<browser_client_configuration> ViewState: <view_state_description> Http-Referer:<link_to_invalid_URL> Path:<path>". To resolve the problem, click Refresh on the Internet Explorer toolbar.
CR0142308
When you apply a number of parameters to the reports using the Property Manager Wizard and an error occurs during the application of one parameter, none of the other parameters will be applied either.
CR0144549
The Update Database option of the InTrust Audit data source does not work if Microsoft SQL Reporting Services and the required database are stored on different servers. To resolve this issue and update the database, run the auditdb.sql and ITFE8_5_audit_schema.sql scripts under the account with dbo privilege using, for example, Microsoft SQL Query Analyzer. The scripts are stored in the \SQLScripts subfolder of the InTrust Knowledge Portal installation folder (for example, C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Quest InTrust Knowledge Portal\SQLScripts).
CR0143131
If you take a Repair action when running the Report Pack installer from Add/Remove Programs, remote data sources are restored and assigned to the Report Pack reports but not models. To assign these data sources to the corresponding models, use the Change Data Source Wizard.
CR0145430,
CR0145432
For InTrust Knowledge Portal to work correctly on a client computer, the site where the Portal is installed must be added to the Trusted Sites list on that client computer, and the Allow META REFRESH option (Control Panel | Internet Options | Security | Custom Level | Miscellaneous | Allow META REFRESH) should be enabled.
CR0155702
We don't recommend you to set Every visit to the page value to the Check for newer versions of stored pages option (Control Panel | Internet Options | Settings | Check for newer versions of stored pages).
CR0154143
Data-driven subscriptions cannot be copied from a source report using the Property Manager Wizard. Therefore if there is at least one data-driven subscription among copied subscriptions, none of them will be copied.
CR0138682,
CR0138691,
CR0143015
For InTrust Knowledge Portal to work properly, we recommend that to return to the previous page you use the Back button provided by the Portal when it is displayed instead of the browser's Back button.
CR0182079
When using the Property Manager Wizard to copy data source settings of a report which initially had no data source assigned, the following error occurs: "Invalid data source type. Only shared data sources allowed."
CR0168473
When using the Property Manager Wizard to copy a value for query-based parameter (for example, a filter of Interval type in reports on InTrust data), the value will not be applied; no error message is issued, however.
CR0184311
If copying folders when organizing the reports, source folder security settings are not copied correctly (target folder security settings are applied).
CR0184502
Subscriptions to a source report or folder are not copied when you copy a report or folder.
CR0184553
If you delete a report model, the reports which used this model can be assigned another model only by using the SRS Report Manager (Change Data Source Wizard will not help).
CR0186178
If you are running the Property Management Wizard to copy the report's data source properties, and select the Apply only to reports designed for the same products as the source report check box, then data source properties may be copied incorrectly (they will be set for the reports on the products to which the data source was assigned).
