"Cannot copy agent distribution file" error appears when installing InTrust Agent
When attempting to deploy an InTrust Agent to a server, the following error may appear:
Cannot install the agent on 'SERVER' because of an error. Error text: Cannot copy agent distribution file C:\Program Files (x86)\Dell\InTrust\Server\ADC\Agent\winnt_x86\redist\adcscm_package.ini (Access is denied. (Win32 error: 5)).
An old agent, or agent remnants, may be affecting the deployment of the InTrust agent, and may still be pending deletion.
-Ensure the server was not cloned from a server that already had an agent installed.
-Ensure there are no old InTrust agent process running (possibly hung/stuck) with service pending deletion (confirm by attempting to switch the service start-up mode). If the process is confirmed hung/stuck kill the process in task manager and attempt the upgrade/install again.
