Issue

Finding the IBM Diagnostics path and BT Work Directories.

Solution

The IBM diagnostics is usually in the Data\IBM_TECHNICAL_SUPPORT folder.

The Binary Tree Work and Log directory path (this will be in the notes.ini file).

Typical

BTWORKDIRECTORY=C:\CMTc\Work

BTLOGDIRECTORY=C:\CMTc\Logs

Optional

BTWORKDIRECTORY=C:\Program Files\IBM\Domino\data\BinaryTree\Works

BTLOGDIRECTORY=C:\Program Files\IBM\Domino\data\BinaryTree\BTLogs

Finding the Temp directories.

1. Click Start, in the search box, type CMD.
2. Right click on CMD and choose run as Administrator.
3. Type SET for a list of variables.
4. In the command prompt type ECHO %Temp% for the %userprofile% temp directory.
5. This displays the full path of the actual temp folder and you can follow the path and identify its location by copying the entire path and pasting it in Run command or in search options.
