Description
After the version upgrade from 5.17 to 5.19 of GPOADmin, the history report of group policy can't be reviewed/rendered by end users.
Error out as:
WebView2 initialization Failed.
One or More errors Occurred.
Element not found. (Exception from HRESULT:0*80070490) -
Resolution
Download and install either the Evergreen Bootstrapper, or Evergreen Standalone Installer from Microsoft's WebView2 website.
If you are running GPOADmin through a service such at Citrix/ CyberArk, or if you are logging into a machine where the GPOADmin console is installed on that machine. We have seen issues with attempts to use WebView2 through remoting services in the past.
So, when using Cyberark is not a currently supported use case in GPOADmin. This is an untested setup for us and thus not supported. We have seen similar issues with Citrix and WebView2 as well.
