Description
Getting error "The open operation did not complete within the allotted timeout of 00:00:00. The time allotted to this operation may have been a portion of a longer timeout" when launching GPOADmin. -
Cause
The timeout value in the configuration file is 00:00:00. -
Resolution
Modify the timeout value on the config file.- Navigate to c:\programfiles\quest\gpoadmin\connections
- Right Click on "default.client.connection.config" choose to open with Notepad
- Set the 00:10:00, for all the timeout option.
