How to restore a GPO to a previous version -

This article outlines how to restore a registered GPO to a previous version -
Resolution
- Right click on the GPO within Version Control and choose "Show History"
- Find the version that you would like to restore. To assist in finding the correct version you can right click on the version and choose "View" to see the settings or hold down the CTRL key and select more than one version and select "Differences" to find out the differences between version
- Once the correct version is found, right click on it and choose "Get"
- The GPO will then be in a Checked Out state and will be a minor version (for example, prior to "Get" if the GPO was 4.0 it will now be 4.1)
- Right click on the GPO and then Deploy. This will deploy to the next major version. In the above example, the GPO was 4.1 and will now be version 5.0. Even though a previous version was restored it will still increment the version number.
