Missing path or folder in Active Directory SYSVOL folder resulting from GPMC version mismatch or switching operational DC while performing an operation over GPO.

1. Set the Preferred Domain Controller for the managed domain to the closest Domain Controller in the network:
2. Enable GPMC version check in GPOAdmin (see the screenshot above)
3. Check your environment for possible GPMC version mismatch as follows.
   The versions of the native Group Policy Management Console (GPMC) on these machines should match:
   • GPOAdmin Server
   • GPOAdmin MMC console machine
   • Current Domain Controller for the managed domain
