GPO Latest report does not display Links for a GPO
Description
GPO "Latest" report does not display Links for a GPO even though the GPO "Live" report does show the Links for a GPO.
In addition, the Links are displayed when right-clicking the GPO and selecting "Properties | Links tab".
Cause
When Links are added to a GPO, they are actually added to the OU rather than the GPO itself. The links will then be back-referenced in the GPO and reflected in the Live version. The "Latest" report displays the contents of the last backup of a GPO. A backup may not be created when links are added to a GPO because it is the OU that is updated.
Resolution
An updated backup of the GPO can be created by performing a "Check out" and then a "Check in". Once complete, the "Latest" report will display the Links.
