Foglight/FVE server is down and not starting up with embedded MySQL database.
Getting errors in log as below
Caused by: java.sql.BatchUpdateException: Packet for query is too large (1049325 > 1048576). You can change this value on the server by setting the max_allowed_packet' variable.
MySQL database configuration file(my.cnf or my.ini) has a parameter Max_allowed_packet which needs to be configured in order to connect to the MySQL database.
Steps to fix the problem are as below:
1. Stop the FMS
2. If using an embedded MySQL database on the FMS, navigate to $FMSHOME/mysql directory, else navigate to your external database server's $MYSQL_HOME directory to locate your my.cnf or my.ini file.
If the setting found here is set lower than 2M then you will need to edit FMSHOME/mysql/my.cnf (or my.ini), you can edit/add the following line right after [mysqld]:
max_allowed_packet=2M
You'll have to modify permissions to my.cnf (or my.ini) to edit it, but change them back or the FMS won't start.
3. Start the FMS
