Foglight Agent Manager not starting (4324211)

The internal FglAM (Foglight Agent Manager) on the FMS (Foglight Management server) does not start. Looking in the FglAM log the following error is seen:

XX-XX-XX-XX XX:XX:XX.000 FATAL   [native] A Foglight Agent Manager is already running from the /$FMS_INSTALL_DIR/Foglight/fglam/state/default directory. Only one instance of the FoglightAgentManager can be executed in this directory on this machine. If the FoglightAgentManager has crashed, you can force a start by removing any file matching '/$FMS_INSTALL_DIR/Foglight/fglam/state/default/.FglAM-xxxxFMS.pid'

To fix the issue follow the steps below:

1. Go to "/$FMS_INSTALL_DIR/Foglight/fglam/state/default/"
2. Type in the command "ls -la" (this will list all the files in the directory)
3. Then remove the file ending with the extension.pid for example:
   rm FglAM-xxxxFMS.pid'
4. Now try and start the FglAM once more
