Error: "ERROR Collector - _AddSamplesToList - Setting Metric Information for vcenter1 to Skipped -
Description
After upgrading from vCenter 4.0 to vCenter 4.1, the views within vFoglight VMware are not updating. The spinners are showing green within the "Vmware enviroment" dashboard, but are not spinning or showing data. Within the collector logs, the following is populating:
yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss,sss [20] ERROR Collector - _AddSamplesToList - Setting Metric Information for vcenter1 to Skipped State.
yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss,sss [20] ERROR Collector - _AddSamplesToList - Setting Metric Information for vcenter2 to Skipped State.
yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss,sss [20] ERROR Collector - _AddSamplesToList - Setting Metric Information for vcenter3 to Skipped State.What can be done to resolve this?

Resolution
As noted in the Problem Description, the collector log shows a lot of newly added skipped entities, which is causing this issue. In order to help resolve this, carry out the following procedure:- Stop the collector service
- Backup the file FoglightAgent.WinService.exe.Config
- Edit FoglightAgent.WinService.exe.Config file to remove the skipped entities skippedEntityList="" />
