In vFoglight Storage, I acknowledge and clear my alerts, but they keep coming back.
I am not using the ports and they are turned off, but they keep alerting.

Cause
This is a known defect in vFoglight Storage caused by a bug referenced by Quest Tracking ID VFGLS-894.
The alerts should not reappear unless the port goes through a state change. A stable down port should not alert after the first alert if the port remains down.

Resolution
Defect request VFGLS-894 has been submitted to Development for a fix in a future release. Please check the release notes of latest software to determine which bug fixes have been included in this release.
