Can you please let us know how to enable the access log of the FMS server so we have requests and response times?
Is it possible to find out from which IP / host someone tried to log in the FMS console using the user foglight?
HTTP Access log can be manually enabled in 5.6.* and earlier servers by uncommenting the AccessLogValve in <fms-home>/server/default/deploy/jboss-web.deployer/server_full.xml (or server_https.xml if it's configured for HTTPS only access). These changes require a server restart to become effective.
Here's an example (snippet from server*.xml):
<Valve className="org.apache.catalina.valves.AccessLogValve"
prefix="http_access_log." suffix=".log"
pattern="%t %h %u "%r" %s %b (%Dms)"
directory="${jboss.home.dir}/logs"
resolveHosts="false" />
The access log file is configured to be stored in the same dir as other FMS log files (i.e. FMSHOME/logs). Please note that the access log file is rotated on a calendar basis, which is different from other FMS log files.
Here's a link to Apache Tomcat doc that describes the various formatting marks (not all of the are supported since the version on Tomcat included into JBoss, which is included into FMS, is older):
