WORKAROUND: An e-mail message can be sent when the FMS certificate will expire within a designated number of days with the "FMS Certificate Expiration Check" rule.
The "FMS Certificate Expiration Check" rule and the "FMSCertificateExpirationWarningDays" registry variable can be imported with the steps below. The default value of FMSCertificateExpirationWarningDays is 60.
1). Copy the certificate_check.xml file to the $FMSHOME/bin directory on the FMS host.
2). Issue the following command from the $FMSHOME/bin directory to import the rule and registry variable:
Unix/Linux:
./fglcmd.sh -usr foglight -pwd -cmd util:configimport -f certificate_check.xml
Windows:
fglcmd -usr foglight -pwd -cmd util:configimport -f certificate_check.xml
3). The default threshold is 60 days. Modify the value of the "FMSCertificateExpirationWarningDays" registry variable if a different threshold is preferred.
4). The e-mail address in the SYSADMIN registry variable is used by default. Update the mail.recipient action parameter under the e-mail action if a different e-mail address is preferred.
