After a fresh installation of VMWare agent, it does not show any data in vFoglight. The Connector log show the error:
"Unable to connect to remote server."
SSL related error
Reconfigure the VirtualAgent.exe as suggested below:
1. Login to the machine where the virtual agent is running.
2. Stop both the collector and connector services which are running.
3. Open the command prompt as an Administrator and go to the path where the agent is installed (normally in the VMWare Agent directory).
4. Type the following command:
VirtualAgent.exe /configure
5. It will show up the dialog for configuration with all details.
6. Make sure the SSL is checked if SSL connection is used and proper port is set (8443).
7. Save the settings and close it.
8. Restart both the collector and connector services.
Give a minute or so and you can then see data coming in VFoglight.
