RESOLUTION 2
Delete the "RemoteClient" object associated with the decommissioned FglAM. The "RemoteClient" objects are updated even if there is not an FglAM reporting to the FMS so the delete stale objects script to remove the RemoteClient objects cannot be used. Confirm that the "connected" property of the RemoteClient object is "0" to make sure that the RemoteClient object is not associated with an FglAM that is reporting in to the FMS before deleting it.
The FglamClientInstance objects associated with the decommissioned FglAMs can be removed also.
Execute the following steps for the decommissioned FglAMs.
A. Find the FglAMClientInstance object associated with the decommissioned FglAM, confirm that it has not been updated recently, and then delete the FglAMClientInstance object.
- Navigate to the Script Console (Administration | Tooling | Script Console).
- Select "FglAMClientInstance" in the top field and click the "List Instances" button.
- Search for the FglAM name.
- Confirm that the date under the "Last Updated" column is not current. If the date is current then the FglAM has recently reported in to the FMS.
- Select the radio button to the left of the FglAMClientInstance object.
- Select the "Scripts" tab.
- Click the "Add" button.
- Paste the following script in the "Enter Script Text" section and then click the "Run" button to delete the selected FglAMClientInstance object:
server.TopologyService.deleteObject(scope)
B. Find the RemoteClient object associated with the decommissioned FglAM, confirm that the value of the "connected" property is "0.0" and then delete the RemoteClient object.
- Navigate to the Script Console (Administration | Tooling | Script Console).

- Search for the FglAM name.
- Select the radio button to the left of of the RemoteClient object.
- Select the "Properties for ...(RemoteClient)" tab.
- Confirm that the value of the "connected" property is "0.0". If the value is 1 the FglAM is connected to the FMS so do not delete it.
- Select the "Scripts" tab.
- Click the "Add" button.
- Paste the following script in the "Enter Script Text" section, and then click the Run button to delete the selected RemoteClient object:
server.TopologyService.deleteObject(scope)
