VMware agent 'broken' status (red X), not collecting data from vCenter.
Attempts to stop and restart agent are unsuccessful, or cannot use activate or deactivate buttons.
Agent Manager for that agent may be having a problem.
Resolution 1: Stop the respective Agent Manager (FglAM) for this agent. Wait for all FGLAM processes to terminate. Restart the Agent Manager.
Resolution 2: You are using the embedded Agent Manager. You will need to stop the Foglight service/daemon, wait for FMS and FGLAM to end, then restart.
Resolution 3: If Resolution 1 or 2 does not correct the problem, and you still cannot activate the agent, redeploy the agent package to that Agent Host:
Dashboard: Administration | Agents | Agent Hosts
Highlight the Agent Manager(FGLAM) of the affected system
Press the 'Deploy Agent Package' button at the bottom
Select the VMware Performance Agent from the list, and press OK.
Agent may start working automatically or may have to be reactivated depending on what has previously taken place.
