The following is a list of issues known to exist at the time of this release.

FCM-92

M2 type machines in Google Cloud are not supported to import from Portal.

FCM-33

Running Cloud Model or Migration offline is not supported. These features must have an Internet connection to collect network traffic cost and cloud disk data from the Cloud provider.

FCM-31

ConnectIion exception might occur while importing Cloud IaaS Offerings from portal.

TORCD-2685

Users need to manually modify the disk type in Azure if the disk type in model result is not HDD.

TORCD-2674

If the VMs have multiple NICs, only one NIC will be created for the migrated VM in Azure by default. Users need to add more NICs manually after migration.

TORCD-2656

Disk IOPs/throughput of VM size has limits, the recommended size may not be able to meet with the VM performance request.

TORCD-2612

The operating system of the virtual machines should be compatible with the System Requirement Guide for Rapid Recovery 6.3.

Upgrade and compatibility

Foglight for Cloud Migration 6.1.x requires Management Server version 6.1.x and Foglight Agent Manager version 6.1.x. It also requires Foglight for VMware lite version 6.1.x and Foglight for Hyper-V lite version 6.1.x.

Product licensing

Product licensing

Foglight includes a licensing capability that restricts access to those features that are defined in the license. Any Management Server installation requires a license that grants access to server-specific parts of the browser interface and the features associated with them. Foglight cartridges are also license-protected. While some cartridges are covered by the base Foglight license (such as Foglight Agent Manager cartridges and the Cartridge for Infrastructure), others may require an additional license.

Foglight for Cloud Migration is covered by the Foglight Evolve Cloud and Flex license.

To activate a trial or a purchased commercial license:

  1. On the navigation panel, under Dashboards, click Administration > Setup > Manage Licenses.
  2. Click Install.
  3. In the Install License dialog box, click Browse.
  4. In the file browser that appears, specify the location of the license file.
  5. In the Install License dialog box, click Install License.
