There are no implications for not defining a network security model in terms of running of SharePlex.
It will not hinder or impede replication.
It only implies that there is no additional layer of security that can be configured for replication for SSL/TLS connections.
Note: if other node(s) involved in replication have SSL/TLS security enabled, then there will be a problem connecting to these other node(s).
