Connect RMAD to SQL Server using custom port -

When installing Recovery Manager for Active Directory with an existing SQL Server using a different port than default (1433), port number must be specified in the setup, otherwise SQL Connection error "An error has occurred while verifying the specified SQL Server Instance" appears. -
Causa
SQL Server is using different port and is not listening on default port 1433. -
Resolución
- Run the Recovery Manager for Active Directory or Recovery Manager for Active Directory Forest Edition setup and select the "Custom" installation option.
- When asked about SQL Server, select "Do not install SQL Server 2008 Express Edition" to use your already installed SQL Server environment.
- On the RMAD setup SQL Server textbox, input your SQL Server name and port separated by a comma character (",").
E.g.
SQL Server: WS2008-RMAD
SQL Server listening port: 40002
SQL Server textbox input: WS2008-RMAD,40002
